Well, the eagle has finally landed! I have returned from a week long VERY intensive workshop in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I will be posting lots of my final images from the class this week, but for now (as I adjust to “re-entry” into society), I wanted to hold you over with a little behind the scenes peak at what went on this past week! I had the pleasure of studying under the brilliant Bobbi Lane and could not have imagined how much knowledge and information I would come away with this week. So worth the investment and very much looking forward to making fabulous images in the coming months!!
I also have some video… which I may chose to use against my classmates in exchange for favors. Oh wait, I think that’s called blackmail. KIDDING. Most of them are viewable to the general public. And probably only interesting to me. Maybe you’ll see them pop up over the next week!
Without further ado… the fabulous Bobbi Lane modeling and metering all at once. And of course we can’t forget our amazing Studio Coordinator and resident fashionista, Sara:

Bobbi explaining posing with the amazing David Michael Kennedy (another world-famous photographer and instructor last week at the Workshops):

Barbara! This is one of my new friends, classmates, and roommates. Barbara is quite the comedian and a great photographer as well:

Say cheese!! Michael Karsh was our Course Coordinator and assisted us (read: helped us during moments of panic and near breakdown) throughout the week:

Rick was one of our super models and a REAL cowboy. Yeah, he had just come from herding cattle or something totally unrelatable like that:

Bobbi lookin’ fierce…. She’s one tough cookie:

David Michael Kennedy getting sucked into modeling for Bobbi one last time before the week was out. There were some issues with the flash here, as well… which was nice to see that even the pros have technical issues sometimes. I’ll have to remember that next time I’m ready to throw my camera or lights out the window:
